It's Black Friday around the world! So today we're asking you to support our own man in black, Joseph Cardinal Cardijn, founder of the Young Christian Workers movement, Council Father at Vatican II and inspiration of so many lives and projects over the last century.
In particular, we've become aware of a collection of press photos of Cardijn that are currently for sale at a Black Friday discount. To purchase the collection, we need to urgently raise $A700 ($US460 or €420). Any extra funds we may raise will be set aside for future such purchases and projects.
Where copyright allows, these photos will be published online at the Joseph Cardijn Digital Library. The originals will also be stored for consultation and made available for eventual use (again subject to copyright) in various publications by ACI, the YCW and other Cardijn movements.
That's why I'm taking the opportunity to write and ask for your support today.
And if you're able to support our work on an ongoing basis, please sign up for a regular Coffees for Cardijn weekly or monthly contribution and/or become a member of the Australian Cardijn Institute.
We thank you and future generations will also thank you.

Secretary, Australian Cardijn Institute
